Technology
In keeping with the content and philosophy and the New Jersey Cross-Content Workplace Readiness Standards, the Solomon Schechter Technology curriculum is intended to nurture the development of our students to become self directed learners, complex thinkers, quality producers, collaborative workers, and community contributors.
Technological skills will not be taught in isolation; skills will directly relate to the content area curriculum and to classroom assignments. Students will be able to use the computer flexibly, creatively and purposefully, and they will develop "computer literacy" because they will apply various technology skills as part of the learning process.
